A spot of good news
I was happy to see today that I was selected to attend a very exclusive weeklong seminar conducted by The Institute for Humane Studies. They’re paying for everything; room and board, books, the registration.
Here are the details.
Some choice bits:
Rare is the opportunity to sit with serious, talented peers discussing what you care about most: your work, the work of great authors and filmmakers and the very substance of art, the human struggle to know himself and be free. This summer, spend seven days doing just that.
Can’t complain about that!
I submitted my Harriet Tubman script, and it rated well enough for me to be included. There will be industry pros there, and I look forward to making some great contacts. Maybe this is even a step towards having that special script produced…
