Lots of Writing Staring Me in the Face

I currently have 9 different writing projects to complete in the next 2 weeks. That’s a ton, in case you were wondering. Fortunately, 8 of them are paid. (6 of them are fairly small, so don’t get too excited or worried for me.)

But the good thing about this trend is that the tide is turning. Many times when a band makes it big, people think it’s an overnight success. Yet often that band had been practicing, touring and recording for years and years prior to that first big hit. I think it’s the same with a writing career. And the momentum seems to be going in the right direction.

So while I’m a little overwhelmed by just how much I have to write in the next couple of weeks, I’m also encouraged because years ago I didn’t have to write anything, and I only chose to write stuff here and there.
