The moon is so bright
That you wouldn’t need a flashlight or lights at all to, say, play football outside right now. Seriously, it’s that bright. I love it. In fact, it makes me want to test my statement and play football or go for a hike. But then again, that wouldn’t be so wise, what with the coyotes (who recently killed a folk singer in Canada!), and the mountain lions and the rattlesnakes, all of which seem more dangerous at night when you’re by yourself, regardless of how bright the moon may be.
Crazy thing about the moon to me is that I really have to remind myself and accept on faith that it’s merely reflecting the suns light down to us on a night when it’s this bright. First of all, it’s not made of mirror material. It’s made of rocks and dust. And how well do rocks and dust really reflect light in your experience? In mine, not well at all! And second, the light is completely different than sun light. It’s ghostly white and devoid of any warmth at all. It’s like anti-sun light. It’s strange to me that the reflection of sun light can seem so totally other.
There’s a metaphor to be made here somewhere, but I’m too tire.

you are so tired, apparently, that you couldn’t even finish the last word of the post. Jase, go to bed!!!!
And yeah, that is interesting about the moon just reflecting the sun’s light (I am not even positive I knew that, in fact.)
I love it when the moon is really bright. I also like it when you can see the moon during daylight. I don’t know why, but it makes me happy to see the sun and the moon out together.
