Spontaneous Waterfalls

One of the best things about living in Topanga is the drive into and out of the canyon. It’s beautiful. Green and stone dramatically reaching towards the skies. I’ve often thought that the one thing that would just be amazing is if a waterfall would poor over the edge of one of the many cliffs.

And today, I saw it. Actually, many “its.” That’s right, as a result of a full week of rain, waterfalls sprang up (or should I say down?) all through the valley. Real thunderous, wide, and tall waterfalls. It just about made me run off the road while I was driving.

I wish I had a picture, but, well… I was driving. But really, it was like this incredible moment because there in front of me, completely unexpected, was the full realization of a dream I literally have every time I drive through the valley. And you know what, I think that means they’ll be other dream fulfillments coming soon.

(Like the dream I always have of seeing a mountain lion gracefully rushing through the valley below while I’m hiking.)

(Or, you know, selling something soon.)

Yes! What if it’s the best of both worlds and you sell something to a mountain lion?!

No but really, I think you’re gonna sell something soon…

And in all that rain, you haven’t happened to see any coyotes in the rain, have you? :-)

  2. Very cool…I think it is foretaste of great things to come, Jase!
